Hello everyone and welcome back to my page,
yes i know , i’ve been away for too long but that will be explained futher; nevertheless i wanted to share my experience with you at Eid.
Eid-ul-Fitr or simply Eid, it’s a muslim festivity and celebration, that takes place on the last day of Ramadan (29-30th day of Fasting). This day also marks the beginning of Shawwal.
It was a nice sunny day, and after i was done from my 8.5 hours shift i went home to refreshen up, and then went to this massive field in which the festivity took place.
Upon arrival, i most say i was amazed with the number of people, and how organised everything was. Everyone was dressed in their best clothes, there was food you could purchase and you could bring from home, so it looked like a pick nick kind of day as well.
There were so many children, why won’t there be? there were fun rides all over , and ice-cream vans to cool down the body temperature.
I got my self a cotton candy, gush i can’t remember the last time i had one, it takes me back to when i was a little girl, still thinking of barbies lol.
I also got my self Henna, it was done by a lovely lady who was providing this service for free , and trust me the queue of little girls wanting to get that done was long; but i manage to fit in at the very end, literally last minute.
Overall i really liked the environment, everyone was so polite, happy, joyful, and kind to me; which made me feel calm. I must say i had fun !
